Seeking a weaker mind, Death finds Elrod of Melvinbone, prince of a distant people (and an arrogant buffoon). Elrod manages to get himself and Cerebus thrown in a dungeon, but Cerebus manages to escape, happily leaving Elrod behind to rot.
