Thor rouses his friends from their torpor and the Vizier summons Mimir, guardian of the Well of Wisdom, to learn Odin's whereabouts. Mimir relates a tale of the Egyptian Gods, imprisoned by Seth, God of Death, until the time Atum-Re, father of the Gods, returns to Earth. Learning of a giant pyramid in San Diego, Thor travels there and battles Horus until the fight is ended by the dramatic appearance of Odin, who however has been enchanted into believing that he is Atum-Re.

Characters: The Asgardians; The Ennead; Rock Trolls (vision or hallucination); Warriors Three; Fandral (supporting); Jane Foster (supporting); Grand Vizier (supporting); Heimdall (supporting); Hogun (supporting); Horus (supporting); Isis (supporting); Loki (cameo) (vision or hallucination); Mimir (supporting) (introduction); Odin (supporting); Osiris (supporting); Seth (flashback) (villain) (introduction); Surtur (cameo) (vision or hallucination); Thor [Thor Odinson] (featured); Tyr (supporting); Volstagg (supporting); Judith (vision or hallucination); Asgardians; Rock Trolls (vision or hallucination)

Cover Pencils: Gil Kane; John Romita (see notes) Cover Inks: John Romita (see notes); Klaus Janson Story Script: Bill Mantlo (script); Roy Thomas (plot) Story Pencils: Sal Buscema Story Inks: Klaus Janson Story Colors: Phil Rachelson

Bronze Age (1970-1984)

This data was obtained from the copyright holder, Grand Comics Database.
