Alex Ross New Timeless Villains Variants Are Coming In March

Artist Alex Ross' iconic Timeless variant cover series continues in March, as the fan-favorite artist is giving some of the greatest villains their own starring art in his signature, hyper-realistic style. The new covers are must-owns for collectors looking to see Ross continue his work on classic Marvel villains, with several heavy-hitter foes appearing in the art.
Alex Ross is a legendary artist and writer in the comic book industry who has had a hand in creating some of the most beloved and influential comic stories ever. From Kingdom Come alongside Mark Waid to Marvels and Astro City with Kurt Busiek, Ross' painted interiors, designs, writing, and covers have led to jaw-droppingly stunning portrayals of several different comic book universes. Ross, who previously designed Timeless Marvel Comics variants with heroes starring in the forefront, is now continuing his most recent villain series, as a handful of new covers arrive in March.

Alex Ross told Marvel in a press release that he brought lots of passion to the new covers as he put his spin on some of the publisher's greatest supervillains in the Timeless variants.
“The passion I held for illustrating many of Marvel’s heroes in a timeless representation was easily matched by the passion I felt for illustrating the villains,” Ross told Marvel.com. “Marvel clearly has some of the greatest concepts in the realm of super villains as well as heroes.”
