General

  • Yes! We’re always buying collections of all sizes.

    Check out our "Sell your Collection" page for more!

  • Always. Every book on our site is scanned by us. For lower-value books with multiple copies, the scan represents the lowest-grade copy available.

  • Yes. Every comic is freshly re-bagged and boarded using Comic Pro Line 2mil OPP bags and 24pt boards before leaving our warehouse.

  • For low value books, we assign Low, Mid, or High grade tiers based on overall condition. Any book priced over $15 CAD receives an accurate grade from our professional grading team.

  • Yes! Local pickup is available at our warehouse (466 Elgin Street, Brantford).

  • Yes — CaptCan Comics now operates Canada Comic Pressing, which we recently acquired and integrated into our Brantford warehouse. All pressing, cleaning, and CGC submission services are handled in-house using the same professional equipment and methods Canada Comic Pressing is known for.

Shipping

  • Shipping is automatically calculated based on the number of books, and the location.

  • We ship five days a week, and most orders go out within two business days. During sales or holidays, there may be delays.

    Tracking is emailed automatically once your package is on the way.

  • Low value, small orders are packed securely in a cardboard sandwich in an envelope. Boxed orders are protected with bubble wrap and packing paper.

  • Absolutely! If they’re in the same order, we’ll ship only when everything is available. Check out our Hold Boxes!

HOLD BOXES

  • A Hold Box lets you stack orders over time and ship them together later. When you select “Hold” at checkout, we pull your books, place them in your box, and mark the order fulfilled.

  • Add the free Ship My Hold Box item to your cart. We’ll package everything and email you a shipping invoice!

  • As long as needed — there's no expiry. It’s perfect for frequent buyers who want to save on shipping.

  • Yes! Everything can be held together. Everything currently fulfilled in your box ships when you request it.

  • Yes — local pickup is available during regular store hours.

PRE-SALES

  • Pre-Sales (Pre-Orders) are advance purchases for upcoming releases. We ship them once the books officially release and arrive from our distributors.

  • Typically day of release. Distributor delays or damages may slow this slightly while we wait for replacements. We do not ship new release books below NM- grade.

  • Dates frequently change — for the most accurate information, we recommend checking the PREVIEWSworld website.

  • Yes, but they will ship together when everything in the order is released. To ship separately, place separate orders - or use a Hold Box!

  • No — Pre-Sales cannot be distributed before the publisher’s official release date.
