BLADE’S WESLEY SNIPES NEW SERIES THE EXILED ARRIVES

Wesley Snipes, best known for appearing in Marvel's Blade trilogy, jumps into the world of comics in Whatnot's new sci-fi noir miniseries, The Exiled. The project, which initially began as a crowdfunded graphic novel with Adam Lawson and Keith Arem, is coming to comic book stores this week with several exciting new variant covers available for order - including a 1:1000 signed by Snipes.
Known for his iconic roles in films like Demolition Man, White Man Can't Jump, and Dolemite Is My Name, Wesley Snipes may be best known for portraying the titular hero in Marvel's Blade trilogy from 1998-2004. As the vampire hunter Eric Brooks, the Blade franchise remains one of the most beloved superhero trilogies, with particular admiration for the first two installments of the film. Blade will be getting a reboot in the MCU, where Mahersha Ali will portray the character as part of Phase Five of the Marvel Universe. However, Snipes is staying firmly rooted in the world of comics.
Snipes will take on a new comic book character in his original series, The Exiled. Originally a 140-page oversized graphic novel, the Wesley Snipes, Adam Lawson, Keith Arem, and Rob Willis series is coming to comic book stores as a six-issue miniseries. The story, from Whatnot Publishing, will focus on a hardboiled detective named Niles "Roach" Washington as he takes on a serial killer who has been active for more than 5,000 years. Issue one has several variant covers, including some incredible incentive ratio variants.
The Exiled #1 features more than ten covers, with the following variants.

The Exiled follows hardboiled detective Niles "Roach" Washington as he pursues a serial killer who is using mysterious, ancient tools to rip the spines from his victims. When forces outside and within the police department attempt to discredit him for his theories, Roach's instincts keep pushing him forward. With enemies on all sides, Roach wades deeper into the conspiracy and uncovers a secret 5000 years in the making.
For fans of Snipes, Blade, science fiction and crime stories, and comics, The Exiled is an intriguing new project which looks to bring something new to the genre. The Exiled #1 by Wesley Snipes, Adam Lawson, Keith Arem, Gabriel "Eskivo" Santos, Valentina Bianconi, and Rob Willis arrives in comic book stores on Wednesday.
