Cobra Commander's Energon Debut: A Sinister New Series!

Cobra Commander’s arrival in the Energon Universe has arrived as the fan-favorite villain stars in a brand new series from Joshua Williamson, Andrea Milana, Annalisa Leoni, and Rus Wooton.
Skybound Comics’ Energon Universe continues to build on Robert Kirkman, Lorenzo De Felici, Matheus Lopes, and Wooton’s Void Rivals series, Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer’s Transformers, and Duke from Williamson, Jordie Bellaire, Tom Reilly, and Wooton. The new world sees Hasbro properties such as G.I. Joe and Transformers collide, giving readers an exciting universe featuring some of their favorite heroes and villains in stories featuring non-stop action and pulse-pounding moments. Now, Cobra Commander, the leader of Cobra, is getting his own miniseries. In the book, the iconic G.I. Joe foe will try to harness Energon Energy for his gain. The comic takes place before he leads Cobra and showcases why he’s considered one of the most sinister people in the G.I. Joe stories.
CaptCan Comics is celebrating Cobra Commander's release by offering readers a chance to own some incredible covers for the first issue — which is out now. Milana And Leoni draw the titular villain on the main cover. Meanwhile, David Aja draws Cobra Commander in his signature style in a Jack Kirby-inspired cover. Tyler Boss draws a snowy, shadowy 1:10 incentive variant, while Steve Epting’s 1:25 cover showcases the villain in front of a fiery backdrop. Andrea Sorrento’s 1:50 variant features the villain with a snake of his own.
