DSTLRY's Rising Star: Jock's Debut Sci-Fi Series 'Gone #1

DSTLRY is a rising star in the publishing game, attracting some top talent for their creative endeavors. Writers and artists involved in DSTRLY include Mirka Andolfo, Brian Azzarello, Marc Bernardin, Elsa Charretier, Becky Cloonan, Lee Garbett, Jock, Joëlle Jones, Tula Lotay, Junko Mizuno, Stephanie Phillips, Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, and Ram V. After the recent release of "The Devil's Cut" anthology, DSTRLY is releasing their first miniseries in Gone by legendary Batman artist, Jock.
Gone #1 will tell the story of people on a distant planet working in supplying starships. 13-year-old Abi will sneak aboard a luxury space-liner in an attempt to escape her old life. However, her mission to a better tomorrow will feature many twists, as Abi will fight for survival. The series is described as one part Andor and one part The Hunger Games. For fans of science fiction comics and the incredible work of Jock, you’ll want to check this one out.
Gone features a main cover from Jock showcasing how big space really is. The talented artist also draws a variant featuring Abi’s eyes crossed with stars and space. Peach Momoko’s variant features someone falling into space with someone else (potentially Abi) catching them. Joelle Jones' 1:10 variant features Abbi hiding in a crowded area beneath the star-liner. Junko Mizuno’s 1:25 cover brings the artist's signature style to the world of Gone. And the 1:50 variant features the DSTLRY logo through the waviness of space. Check out Momoko’s cover for Gone #1.
