Faceless and the Family continues with new story at Oni Press

One of the most unique comic books is coming back for a brand-new story and series, as Matt Lesniewski's Faceless and the Family continues with Oni Press's Maze of the Mechanical Aliens this Summer.

Faceless and the Family: Maze of the Mechanical Aliens #1 follows 2023's Face and the Family from the Eisner-award-nominated writer and artist. Lesniewski ups the ante in the sequel book with his trademark style that is part wonder and part bizarre. Issue one features main cover art by Lesniewski with variants coming from Kelley Jones and Noah Bailey. Lesniewski and Jones' covers will also be available as incentive covers.

Check out the main cover art and text solicit below.

From Eisner Award–winning cartoonist and visionary storyteller Matt Lesniewski (Crimson Flower, The Freak), the space-faring rogue known as Faceless and his found family of adventurers are about to encounter a new challenge—stronger, stranger, and more perplexing than any they've faced before—in an artistically ambitious and visually spectacular odyssey unlike anything else in this universe . . . or the next! Roving the backwaters of the class-segregated alien world called the Hand Planet, Faceless is plunged into his most harrowing ordeal yet—bonded to a living suit of extraterrestrial armor that refuses to let him go. As the armor's inscrutable will tightens its grip, Faceless finds himself physically under siege. Enter a bizarre, labyrinthine world of impossible logic and nightmarish wonder as Faceless and his unlikely family must embark on a harrowing quest to free him—if freedom is even possible . . .

Faceless and the Family: Maze of the Mechanical Aliens #1 arrives at CaptCan Comics on July 1st, 2026. Pre-order the issue now to ensure you don't miss out.
