Greg Rucka and DaNi redefine Batwoman in new DC series

Batwoman is back in her own DC title, as Kate Kane will star in her own solo adventures in Batwoman #1 that will redefine the hero for new and old readers.

Batwoman #1 comes from fan-favorite writer Greg Rucka and rising star DaNi. The series will see Kane taking on a villain being compared to the devil, so it's strongly possible the unnamed demonic foe will be the strongest villain the hero ever faces off against. Will she survive the ordeal?

Batwoman #1 features main cover art by DaNi, Stjepan Šejić, Artgerm, Jorge Corona, and a 1:25 cover art by Joshua 'Sway' Swaby. Check out the main cover art and text solicit below.

Batwoman. Daughter. Sister. Soldier. Hero.

But since she was 10 years old, Kate Kane has lived in the shadow of a prophecy and the machinations of a religion devoted to the end of all things. How do you fight the devil when the devil is real? And how do you win?

Acclaimed writer and co-creator of the modern Batwoman, Greg Rucka, returns to the story of Kate Kane alongside visionary artist DaNi for a DC Next Level series that will redefine Batwoman and her mission for a new generation.

Batwoman #1 arrives at CaptCan Comics on March 11th, 2026. Pre-order the issue now to ensure you don't miss out!
