Lilo & Stitch: New Comic Series by Greg Pak & Giulia Giacomini!

The world of the classic Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch continues in a brand-new series from Dynamite Comics by Greg Pak and Giulia Giacomini.
The original Lilo & Stitch movie arrived in theaters in 2002, telling the story of Lilo Pelekai and Stitch, an alien creature who crashed into her life. Taking place in Hawaii, the film showcases the bond between the young girl and the extraterrestrial (alongside Lilo’s sister Nani) as they try to avoid Stitch’s capture by those who created him as a weapon. The original film has had several spinoffs, including direct-to-DVD continuations. Now, Dynamite Comics, as part of their new Disney line of comics, is telling the next story set in the fan-favorite film’s universe.
World War Hulk writer Greg Pak is working with Giula Giacomino on Lilo & Stitch, which sees evil aliens arrive on Earth searching for Stitch. The evildoers will use giant robots powered by Stitch’s DNA to reign chaos in Lilo, Nani, and Stitch’s life. Stitch will try to lead the aliens away from Earth, but returning home might not be as easy as it seems.
Dynamite Comics features a main cover from superstar cover artist Joshua Middleton, featuring Lilo hugging Stitch with both characters smiling. David Nakayama draws a variant with Lilo and Stitch surfing. Jennifer Meyer’s variant features Lilo and Stitch h playing music together amidst a beautiful waterfall. Craig Rousseau’s blue variant features Stitch springing into action with a smirk. Additionally, a blank variant will be available. Middleton, Nakayama, Meyer, and Rousseau’s covers will also have virgin and foil incentive variants. Check out Middleton’s main cover art with the trade dressing attached.
Get ready for a new adventure with LILO & STITCH as the irrepressible pair launch their very first ongoing comic series, brought to you by superstar writer GREG PAK (Darth Vader, Mech Cadets) and artist GIULIA GIACOMINO!
