The Lion King #1 will take place before the rise of the villainous Scar, as the Lion King will train Simba into becoming a future leader while teaching him about life and how to defend his kingdom. The Lion King #1 from Dynamite Comics features main cover art by Galmon, Meghan Hetrick, Hacob Edgar, Giula Lomurno, with each being available in different incentive variants.
