ALobo has never been known for being the most well-adjusted, heroic character and in a new special from Kyle Starks (Peacemaker Tries Hard!) and Kyle Hotz (Justice League Dark) called Lobo Cancellation Special #1, the Czarian bounty hunters' scummiest side will be on full display in all of its glory.
Lobo has become a fan-favorite character in the pages of DC Comics since his debut in Omega Men #3 (by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen) as the uber-violent interstellar mercenary has gone toe-to-toe with some of the most notable heroes in the DC Universe, including Superman and the Justice League. Driving the Space Hog, Lobo is a fearsome force in the galaxy, whose allegiance largely depends on who is willing to give him more money. In Lobo Cancellation Special #1, DC is embracing the grittiest side of the hero and his raunchiest adventures. For those wanting to see the action-packed affair, you’ll want to pick up the one-shot.
Lobo Cancellation Special #1 features main cover art from Hotz, in a highly stylized pose showing the darker side of the character. Additionally, Simon Bisley, who helped popularize Lobo during the 1990s, will draw a After Dark card stock variant. Additionally, Hotz’ will be drawing a 1:25 incentive variant. Check out the main cover art for the series followed by the text solicitation below.
