The Punisher's first solo issue gets new facsimile edition!

The Punisher has become one of the most recognizable characters in comics since his debut in the 1970s. However, before he became a household name to most comic book fans, he starred in his first solo series — The Punisher — which is getting a new facsimile edition from Marvel Comics!

The Punisher #1 reprints the classic 1986 issue by Steven Grant and Mike Zeck. The issue finds the antihero in prison, where he's forced to face several prisoners who want to take him out. The comic features classic cover art by Mike Zeck and Phil Zimelman featuring Frank Castle in a gun fight!
