Silk's New Marvel Series Debut - Detective in Crime-Noir!

Silk is about to take on a new role in the Marvel Universe as a detective in her brand-new series, but everything isn’t as it appears. The fan-favorite web-slinger will star in a new ongoing adventure from writer Emily Kim and artist IG Guara, placing the hero in a crime-noir world where she’s trying to solve a missing child case. But, upon further inspection, Cindy Moon learns that she isn’t in her usual reality but, instead, is in a place of someone else’s creation.
Debuting in The Amazing Spider-Man, Cindy Moon was bitten by the same radioactive spider that gave Peter Parker his powers. However, instead of learning about her new abilities and using them as a hero right away, she was trapped inside a bunker by Ezekiel Sims for more than ten years as the villain Morlun was searching for her to absorb her Spider-Totem. Cindy would eventually break free, begin her life among the public, and become the hero known as Silk. Along the way, she would start a career as a reporter and become an important figure in the Spider-Verse.
Readers can see Silk back in action in the brand-new Silk #1 from Marvel Comics, which will see the web-slinger facing off against some familiar faces as she tries to uncover the mystery surrounding her and how she ends up in an unrecognizable timeline.

Cindy Moon stars in several new covers for her new Marvel Comics series. The main cover from Dave Johnson features the hero in costume as the different realities she encounters can be seen around her. Leirix Li draws a stunning Cover B showcasing Silk’s powers, which is also available as a virgin variant.
Tiago Da Silva has Silk strike a pose while traversing across her city. Derrick Chew brings his trademark style to another variant, which is also available as a 1:50 virgin variant. David Nakayama has Silk in a gorgeous dress in his 1:25 variant. Peach Momoko’s tranquil cover features Cindy Moon inside of a flower as she lays on petals, which will also be available as a 1:100 virgin variant. Elena Casagrande and Bjorn Barends will draw additional covers.
