The Flash's Debut Gets Brand-New DC Comics Facsimile Edition
The Fastest Man Alive is getting a new facsimile edition that reprints his first comic book appearance in Showcase #4.
Showcase #4 by John Broome, Robert Kanigher, Carmine Infantino, Gaspar Saladino, and Joe Kubert originally released in July, 1956. The comic introduced readers to Barry Allen aka The Flash, showcasing his classic origin from turning into a mild-mannered scientist into a superpowered speedster.
Showcase #4 features main cover art by Infantino and Kubert, featuring The Flash and his impressive speed. The new facsimile edition comes with a blank variant as well as a foil variant. Check out the main cover art and text solicit below.
