The New Ultimates: Marvel's Avengers Reimagined!

Jonathan Hickman’s Ultimate Universe is starting to take shape. So far, readers have gotten three great titles from the alternate Marvel Universe. Ultimate Spider-Man from Hickman and Marco Checchetto is giving long-time Spider-Man fans the Peter Parker family they’ve long wanted to see in action. Meanwhile, Bryan Edward Hill and Stefano Caselli’s Ultimate Black Panther introduced an exciting and tense new version of the world of Wakanda. Most recently, Peach Momoko brought her signature style to Ultimate X-Men, showing off a world featuring versions of heroes like never before. Next up, The Ultimates!
Deniz Camp and Juan Frigeri are working on a new Ultimates book, with the titular team being the Ultimate Universe’s version of the Avengers. While the new Ultimates have some familiar faces, such as Captain America and Thor, they will be joined by Tony Stark’s Iron Lad, Reed Richards’ Doctor Doom, and Lady Sif! The team will fight against the Maker’s Council for freedom in an oppressive world.
Dike Ruan’s main cover for the series features the team in action — with Ant-Man and the Wasp seen alongside the roster of heroes. Bryan Hitch’s variant is an epic team shot with the silhouette of Spider-Man (and possibly the Green Goblin?) in the background. Iban Coello draws Iron Lad using his armor’s powers. InHyuk Lee’s variant showcases Ant-Man and the Wasp. John Tyler Christopher is doing a yet-to-be-revealed negative space variant. Ryan Stegman’s variant (also available as a 1:100 virgin variant) shows the team in flight. Lastly, Jonas Scharf’s 1:25 variant has yet to be revealed.
