The Red Goblin is back in the Marvel Universe!

The Red Goblin is back in the Marvel Universe, as Normie Osborn is returning in a big way in a brand-new miniseries from Alex Paknadel, Jan Bazaldua, David Curiel, and VC’s Joe Caramagna. The series, which is out this Wednesday, will see a new version of the Red Goblin, a mantle previously dawned by Norman Osborn in the Amazing Spider-Man, come back with a vengeance.
Normie Osborn is the son of Harry Osborn and Liz Allan and the grandson of Norman Osborn, who has watched his family be ripped apart by the Green Goblin and Spider-Man’s continued battles with one another. While Osborn has previously dawned the Carnage symbiote in the Marvel Universe to become the Red Goblin, Normie has recently merged with a part of a symbiote, thanks to Dylan Brock, as he fought alongside the young hero in the recent Dark Web crossover event. With a piece of the alien symbiote at his disposal, Normie will take over the mantle as the Red Goblin in a new miniseries.
Normie's story is retold in the new preview for Red Goblin #1 by Marvel Comics. Marvel reminds readers that when Norman Osborn was the Red Goblin, he brought Normie with him as his “freaky sidekick, the Goblin Childe.” Normie recounts learning about his father Harry’s demise under mysterious circumstances and how he later met Dylan Brock, the new Venom. After getting a piece of a symbiote he calls “Rascal,” Normie becomes the Red Goblin. However, Normie’s lack of a bond with the symbiote leads to him losing control, as he attacks a group of well-equipped thugs while not holding back.
