TMNT vs. Street Fighter: Epic Crossover Unleashed!

The worlds of Street Fighter and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are about to collide as a new crossover comic from IDW Publishing will feature a meeting between the two beloved franchises. TMNT vs. Street Fighter by Paul Allor, Ariel Medel, and Sarah Myer will focus on the five Turtles as they encounter the likes of Chun-Li, Guile, and Ryu in what’s set to be an action-packed series featuring plenty of brawls from the collection of iconic characters.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have grown in size over the last few years. While readers are more than familiar with Donatello, Michelangelo, Rafael, and Leonardo, a new Turtle named Jennika was revealed during the 2014 run on the heroes of a half-shell. Armed with Wolverine-like gauntlets, Jennika has joined the adventures of the Turtles, fitting in alongside the characters created by legends Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. In addition, Jennika will play a part in the upcoming crossover, TMNT vs. Street Fighter. Here’s a text solicit for the issue, which teases the Turtles participating in a mysterious material arts tournament where the fighters are somehow disappearing.
When a prestigious martial arts tournament invites fighters to travel to Atlantic City and test their skills, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jump at the chance to compete. But a big stage means big competition, and the world famous STREET FIGHTERS have shown up in force to prove the mettle of their PSYCHO POWERED fighting forms. As if that's not enough of a challenge, there are rumors of competitors disappearing and the identity of the contest's benefactors is shrouded in mystery.

TMNT Vs. Street Fighter kicks off a five-issue fight card of fury starting this May!
A handful of covers for TMNT vs. Street Fighter #1 will be made available to readers. Medel and Myer draw the main variant, featuring each franchise’s most notable heroes ready to fight. Freddie Williams’ variant features a close look at Leonardo and Ryu, split down the middle on a cool piece. Tom Reilly shows Donatello and Ryu facing off in a video game-styled variant. Ricardo Federici’s 1:25 incentive variant (also a 1:00 black and white variant) features Donny and Ryu alongside several recognizable characters. Elizabeth Beals draws Guile and Rafael facing off for the 1:50 variant. Finally, the biggest incentive variant comes in the form of Sanford Greene’s 1:250 variant, which also comes as a 1:500 virgin variant
