Tony S. Daniel is bringing a new fantasy adventure series to readers with Edenwood, a new series from Image Comics - available at CaptCan Comics now!
Daniel is a fan-favorite artist and writer whose work has touched all corners of the comic book universe. His work on Teen Titans, Batman, and the Image Comics series Nocterra with Scott Snyder has earned him acclaim. Now, Daniel is launching his own book with Image called Edenwood. The new book will imagine a multiversal war between demons and witches coming to Earth - following a demon hunter named Rion, whose deadly actions at the latter end of the battle push him into a leadership position among the Necronema. Rion will form his own team of hunters with century-old fighters by his side.
Edenwood #1 features main cover art from Daniel and Natalia Marques, showing the fiery battle between witches and demons. Daniel and Marques 1:10 sketch variant features Rion wielding a sword in front of his army. Mahmud Asrar’s variant features two bloody characters wielding a bow and arrow and sword. Jorge Molina’s cover features a woman with a lollipop in a leather outfit. Ryan Stegman’s metal cover features explosions and a demonic-looking person riding a motorcycle while wielding and readying to fire a handgun. Edenwood #1 has a 1:100 signature variant from Daniel as well as a 1:250 sketch variant from the talented artist.

An eons-long series of multiverse wars between demons and witches has found Earth as its latest and final battleground. The battle pits NECRONEMA, the ever-expanding demonic land that supplanted the Midwest twenty years ago, against EDENWOOD, the witchcraft-controlled land that acts as a barrier against the war zone and the rest of the U.S. RION, a young DEMON HUNTER, is thrust into the role of hero and leader after defeating a magical demon called a GATHER, a transient demon with the power to cross any barrier or dimension.
Summoned by the WITCH WAR COUNCIL, Rion must assemble an elite team of DEMON HUNTERS tasked with annihilating a list of targets within the demon-controlled lands. The men and women he selects happen to be the most famous and revered demon hunters of all time, dating back to the 1700s.
