Uncanny Avengers: Unity vs. Captain Krakoa

The Uncanny Avengers are starring in a new series that sees some of the most notable mutants on Krakoa join forces with Captain America and Deadpool to take on a massive threat to the Marvel Universe: Captain Krakoa.
The Unity Squad first appeared in “Uncanny Avengers” #1 by Rick Remender and John Cassaday. It featured the unification of the X-Men and the Avengers following the events of the Avengers vs. X-Men event. To find peace, several heroes from different sides agreed to work together to stop greater forces at play. Now, with the Fall of X occurring at the Hellfire Gala, the Unity Squad is back in Uncanny Avengers #1 from Gerry Duggan, Javier Garron and Morry Hollowell and taking on a mysterious villain donning Cyclops’ former Captain Krakoa costume. However, with the villain working alongside M.O.D.O.K. and Doctor Stasis while committing acts of terrorism, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, from mutants and non-mutants, are ready to take on the challenge ahead.
With colorist Hollowell, Garron draws the main cover for Uncanny Avengers #1. Elena Casagrande and Jordie Bellaire provide a Psylocke starring cover part of the Women of Marvel variants. The late George Perez draws Captain America alongside the stars and stripes of the United States flag (in a variant also available as a 1:100 virgin cover). Legendary artist Alex Ross draws multiple covers for the issue, including connecting variants in color and black and white. Romy Jones provides a Miss Minutes variant, while Greg Land draws a G.O.D.S. variant teasing Johnathan Hickman’s next series.
