  • When Henry learns that an old buddy has been captured behind the Iron Curtain, he heads off to East Berlin to mount a rescue. Using both the powers of Giant-Man and Ant-Man Hank rescues Lee and destroys the ray the reds are using to create hyper-intelligent gorillas.
  • Egghead uses a simple clothing store dummy to create a giant and powerful android which he plans on controlling mentally as it battles and defeats Giant-Man. He entices his arch-foe into his trap with the promise of a television series based on his heroic exploits (actually, it is Jan who is pretty keen on getting Hank into show biz).
  • When Hank accidentally knocks himself out after a failed lab experiment, a petty thief makes off with his costume and begins to use the Giant-Man powers to commit crimes.
  • The police ask Giant-Man and the Wasp to stop the Wrecker and his gang who have been strong-arming business owners in Brooklyn.
  • When Hank snaps at Jan for making a clumsy error during an experiment, she tearfully decides to get away from his abuse and take a trip. When her plane is captured in Attuma's latest bid for surface world conquest, a remorseful Giant-Man comes to the rescue.
  • When Hank designs a new power to add to his Giant-Man repertoire (the ability to grow and shrink things other than himself at will), Jan decides it is high time to create a new costume for him as well.
  • Giant-Man is pitted against a disciple of the Mandarin who also has the power to grow and shrink things at will.
  • The Hidden Man and his henchman Loko try and gain the powers of Giant-Man, failing miserably when Wasp steps in to save the day.
  • Realizing that the strain of growing and shrinking so much is doing damage to his body, Hank adjusts his helmet so he can only grow to one size--the 35 foot height of Giant-Man. With the Ant-Man side of his abilities out of his bag of tricks, he adjusts Jan's helmet so she can cybernetically communicate with wasps. Oh, and the Human Top attacks too.
  • Giant-Man mounts a rescue to save the Wasp from the Human Top but to do so, he has to risk the damage to his body of shrinking once more into Ant-Man size.
  • Trapped in his Ant-Man size by a chemical poison, Pym is attacked by a hawk. He stumbles across his old foe Egghead, who is fighting with his niece Trixie. With Trixie's help, Pym escapes from Egghead; but Egghead recaptures the pair.
  • Ant-Man still stuck in shrunken form makes it home to his lab. After reuniting with Jan he finds the cause of his inability to return to full size, just as Whirlwind shows up to kidnap Jan. While foiling the kidnap attempt, Whirlwind escapes. To prove the anti-dote to Hank's condition works Jan takes it herself and gets stuck Ant Size also. While working together on a serum Whirlwind returns with a deoxygenating gun he stole from the Avengers HQ to try to kidnap Jan again. With this failure he sets the house afire. Barely escaping the fire, but in shrunken size, the news declares them dead.
  • Bill Foster establishes himself in Los Angeles, leading a research team for Stark Industries. As Black Goliath he investigates a series of radium robberies and finds Atom-Smasher and his gang.
  • Black Goliath eventually defeats Atom-Smasher after taking a severe beating.
  • After Black Goliath defeats Atom-Smasher, the villain is murdered by unseen forces. Vulcan and his men break into the Stark lab and steal an experimental invention, injuring Foster's employees and killing a policeman during their escape.
  • Tony Stark is worried about the theft of his invention but he can't tell Bill what it was for, for security reasons. Later, Stilt-Man robs a bank, and his Z-Ray causes Black Goliath, Celia Jackson, and her nephew Keith to vanish.
  • Black Goliath, Celia, and her nephew have been transported to the planet Kirgar, where they are helped by a peaceful alien who is murdered by the robot Mortag.
  • Black Goliath stops the Champions' sky-car from crashing and reveals that he designed the ship. He discovers that the metal used in the construction of the ship was of inferior quality. The Champions, including new ally Darkstar, travel to Arizona and help Hawkeye and the Two-Gun Kid defeat the Warlord Kaa and his Shadow-Aliens. Back in LA, a girl arrives at Champions base carrying a box (formerly belonging to the Stranger) that was stolen from Bill Foster's lab a week ago. The Stilt-Man breaks into Champions HQ looking for the box.
  • In Los Angeles, the Champions and Black Goliath drive away Stilt-Man. The Goliath chases after and ultimately defeats Stilt-Man. The Stranger arrives and tells the team that the box is the Null-Life Bomb. The bomb activates and begins to grow in size. The Stranger enters the bomb to try to disarm is and teleports the Champions away. The team find themselves in another realm and are attacked by Kamo Tharnn and his Beast-Men.
  • Inside the Null-Life Bomb the Stranger is attempting to slow the expansion of the bomb. The Champions figure out that they were sent to steal Kamo Tharn's Runestaff in order to disarm the bomb but, at an earlier date, Hercules had already taken the Runestaff to earth in order to aid Thor. Darkstar travels back to earth to acquire the Runestaff and, with the aid of the Stranger, uses it to disarm the bomb.
  • Scott Lang uses a stolen Ant-Man suit to try to rescue a surgeon who can perform a life-saving operation on his daughter.
  • Scott Lang frees a surgeon from Darren Cross's confinement. Hank Pym tells Scott to keep the stolen Ant-Man suit.
