  As Luthor fights for his life, Superman discovers that Luthor had built had a secret prison cell beneath Stryker's Island Penitentiary. But who was confined there, and are they still there?
• 2 Chapter Seven: The Chained Part Two Script: Linda van Bruggen +
  Perry White declares he is running for mayor of Metropolis, but his press conference is interrupted by The Chained, who is searching for his old enemy Lex Luthor and will tear up the city to find him. Superman escapes from The Chained's cell, and with Supergirl, Natasha, Conner, and Kenan, Superman battles against the Chained to stop his attack on the city. Meanwhile, while recovering from the attack on his life, Lex explains to Lois his motivations for helping Superman, before being interrupted by the arrival of surprise visitors. Meanwhile, Brainiac plans an attack on the planet Braal.

  Superman and Superboy attempt to stop The Chained from killing Lex Luthor, but the only way to stop The Chained puts Superman in danger.

  Superman recovers from his injuries suffered in his battle with The Chained with Lois by his side. Luthor is upset that Leticia has brought Lena to Metropolis, where she begins a job at Supercorp. Superman recovers and tries to stop Mr. Graft from going after his next target: Marilyn Moonlight.

  Superman and Marilyn Moonlight find themselves transported back in time to the Old West where they face off against Terra-Man. Meanwhile in the present, Supercorp comes under attack.
• 6 Chapter Eleven: Lex Luthor Revenge Squad Script: Linda van Bruggen +
  While Superman is trapped in the past, SuperCorp comes under attack by the Lex Luthor Revenge Squad, who hope to use SuperCorp's systems against Lex. Mercy Graves and Lena Luthor try to stop the attack before Superman can return and fall victim to Graft's and Pharm's Kryptonite-based weapons.
• 7 Chapter Twelve: Lex's Truth Script: Linda van Bruggen +
  Superman and Luthor join forces to save Metropolis from being poisoned by Kryptonite gas. Luthor reveals his past history with Mr. Graft and Dr. Pharm in order to come up with a way to stop the Kryptonite gas.
