  When a regular scarecrow doesn't work, Porky adds his parrot and his cage as a head to make it more realistic.

  Porky wants to be a writer, but can't think of anything to write about. Bugs and Cicero arrange for actors to give Porky a scare when he walks along the waterfront, but the actors back out. In a random meeting, Porky is given a mysterious pouch by a swami who is pursued by a sword-wielding count. After defeating the count, Porky finds that the pouch contains a salt that turns things to gold. Bugs decides to hide the gold salt in a salt shaker, but Petunia borrows it for her hamburger stand, resulting in gold hamburgers.

  When Cicero causes problems in the city by practicing his lassoing on kids, dogs, and cats, Porky takes him to Grandpa Pig's farm. But Cicero still manages to cause trouble by lassoing a calf.
• 4 Bugs Bunny and the Petrified Carrot Pencils: Fred Abranz +
  Bugs finds a "petrified" carrot on the sidewalk and swaps it for one in Elmer's carrot patch. When two thieves come looking for their plaster carrot (which contains jewels), Bugs fools them into thinking the fake carrot is part of a large bunch of carrots in a grocery store.
• 5 Destination Unknown Script: Carl Fallberg +
  Sylvester is jerked off the pier when he hooks a large fish. Porky hangs on to him and they end up out in the ocean where they board a seemingly abandoned freighter. The captain suddenly appears and shanghais the pair as a crew for a voyage to a mysterious destination.
