  The Duckburg Times runs a business success contest, for which Donald and Gladstone are the two selected entrants. Gladstone is given an old ferry boat, made obsolete by a modern bridge, while Donald is given a bottom-dredging mud barge.
• 2 Salad Storm Warning! Script: Tom Yakutis +
  Croc fakes a broken leg to shelter from a salad storm with Bumblelion and Butterbear.
• 3 Mixed-Up Mixer Script: Carl Barks +
  Gyro uses his new cement mixer to build a dam on Grandma's farm when a flood hits, then Grandma uses it to mix bread for flood refugees.
• 4 The Vanishing Railroad [Chapter Two] Script: Carl Fallberg +
  Railroad cars continue to "vanish" on Mickey and Goofy's watch. An angry Mr. Boomer blames the pair for the disappearances and orders them to go over every inch of track on foot in order to locate the missing cars. Meanwhile, during Mickey and Goofy's demotion, the Clinker Brothers are hired by Mr. Boomer to run the engine, playing right into the hands of Gruggers who is behind the thefts.
• 5 Pound for Sound Script: Carl Barks +
  Uncle Scrooge and Donald each find ways to sneak into a concert by the Duckburg Symphony Orchestra. Scrooge's hiding place is much less successful.
