  • When Wilbur Wolfingham brings his crooked "rags to riches" scheme to Metropolis, Lois decides to reveal his antics and prove to him that "in the end, his schemes only hurt himself"!

  • John Nicholas' dream of building "Fairyland Isle", whose admission is absolutely free to kids, seems not to be ready for the Christmas season opening until Santa 'Superman' Claus steps in to make it a reality. Open it does, but the dis-inherited heirs of the man who provided their playland provide their share of sabotage.
  • Superman investigates the allegations of a young woman about the existence of a "water sprite", all a hoax to keep the authorities from discovering cheap materials that had been used in building a dam.
  • A pair of would-be magicians believe they have magicial powers, and a crime boss sees them 'perform', intending on using those abilities for make him some quick illegal cash!
  • Tommy's teacher assigns a Saturday essay for each class member, although Tommy believes his will be the most boring in class because nothing in his life ever happens that is exciting. That is, until he meets Superman!
