  Natch wins a boat. He and Solid set off for a sail but are caught in a storm. They wash up on a tropical island weeks later. Fortunately, it's one of the Hawaiian Islands and movie star Dorothy La Fleur is shooting a movie there, so the boys are rescued.

  Natch's loud hot-rod runs afoul of the town's new anti-noise ordinance.

  Betsy feels tired and tells her mother that if Wilbur calls, she's washing her hair. Then she reconsiders - she's too tired to wash her hair, so she'll go out with Wilbur.
• 5 Baby-Sitting Blues +
• 6 Moronica Pencils: Owen Fitzgerald +
  A judge gives Moronica a week to find a job so she can pay her traffic fine or else she'll go to jail. She gets a job in a gas station. Moronica is not a good employee and the judge is one of her unfortunate customers.
• 7 Pepper Script: Al Hartley +
  Betsy can't understand why her grades are low in school, as she thinks anyone as popular with boys as her deserves something better.
• 8 Bicycle Built for Two +
• 9 Ya Can't Win! Pencils: Bob Wickersham +
  Emma complains that her husband Edgar spends too much time at the Elks' club playing pool, so she buys a used pool table for their home. However, this disrupts their home life since Edgar's playing partners show up at the house instead. The Elks' club, sad at losing business, buys the table back and the Kilroy household returns to normal.
