• 1 Three for the Money Script: Otto Binder +
  Two separate young men fall in love with the beautiful wife of a rich man and plan on killing him so they can be with her. One man throws a knife at the rich man right around the time the other man shoots him in the head. They both get arrested for the murder not realizing the wife had just poisoned her husband mere seconds before they arrived.
• 2 Dog Food Script: Jack Oleck +
  A brutal prison guard at an outdoor prison mercilessly tortures and beats the inmates. One day one of the prisoners dies due to the abuse. Tom has had enough and plans to kill the guard. Because the prison is guarded by vicious dogs, Tom has been hoarding meat to use to distract the dogs so he can get to the guard's house outside the prison. The guard discovers the cache of meat and gets rid of it. When Tom makes a break for the house, the guard thinks the dogs will get him. But Tom shows up ready to kill, revealing he had flayed himself and fed his own flesh to the dogs.
• 3 Prize Catch Script: Will Matthews +
  A thief steals a rich man's box believing he has a purebred dog or cat inside that he can sell. It turns out he had a venomous snake in the box that bites and kills the thief.
• 4 Key Chain Script: Jack Oleck +
  John Miller was looking for a patsy for larcenous purposes. He met the wealthy Mrs. Hodges, who has a fabulous diamond collection, which he desired. But first he would have to obtain a master key to her place, which he arranged cleverly to do. However when he broke into a locksmith shop to fashion the key, he knocked over all the other keys in the shop. He was locked in and spent all night trying every key to unlock the door. He was found the next morning quite mad. The locksmith is surprised saying the inside door lock had been broken for years and can't be opened.
• 5 The Squealer Script: Jack Oleck +
  A couple of crooked police detectives (Ed and Bert) devise a scheme where they arrest a suspect, beat him up until he signs a confession, and then use it to blackmail the criminal to commit crimes where they take a 75% cut. They had accumulated seven patsies doing this. However the eighth patsy refused to go along with it and was beaten to death by Bert. It turned out to be Ed's son!
