  A man asks his gangster brother for money to perfect his shrink gas, but when he can't get any, he vents the gas outside, and his brother walks into it and shrinks. He turns himself in to a policeman, but the effect is only temporary since the gas is not perfected.
• 2 Nightmare at Midnight Pencils: Jim Mooney +
  A dream searches for the correct dreamer before midnight, but after trying a couple of sleepers realizes it has made a mistake and dissolves. The man who was supposed to have a dream about falling from a great height was a convict attempting a prison break. Since he had no warning, he attempted to scale the high wall and fell to his death.
• 3 The Sinister Stone Pencils: Ed Winiarski +
  A thief steals a ruby dedicated to the god of rain, and heavy rains follow him wherever he goes until he decides to return the ruby.
• 4 He Never Reached the Ground! Pencils: Alfonso Greene +
  A man falls 35 floors but disappears at ground level just before impact, saved by a Tibetan mystic indebted to his great-grandfather.
• 5 He's Coming to Get Me! Pencils: Ted Galindo +
  A man who cheated his brother out of their father's money gets a letter stating that his brother is "coming to get him." He puts a gun under his jacket since he thinks his brother is out for revenge, but he discards it when his brother leads him to a rocket ship and tells him that he didn't want him to be the last man on Earth.
• 6 Make A Wish +
  A man invents a wishing machine but loses the prototype on the way to the patent office.
• 7 The Mad Scientist! Pencils: Ross Andru +
  An old man forces a scientist to use an experimental process to cure a young boy. When he is done, he explains that the scientist’s lab will soon be destroyed and the process lost. He is the future version of the scientist, and the boy is his son.
