  A spider-like alien invades a small New Mexico town. No one can stop him except for a boy who reads science-fiction comics, who shows the value of imagination by killing him with a spray can of DDT.
• 2 The Weatherman Pencils: Joe Maneely +
  In the future, young boy's afternoon is nearly ruined by a scheduled rainstorm, but when he runs into the rainmaker's magical assistant, he gets a delay.
• 3 I Found the Lair of...the Lizard Men Script: Stan Lee +
  A convict escapes and hides in a cavern, where he finds a society of lizard men unable to breathe on the surface. When he tries to steal the diamond that provides their light he is transformed into a lizard man and forced to live among them as an outcast.
• 4 I Must Find Korumbu! Script: Stan Lee +
  A fat man who wishes to lose weight without giving up overeating goes to Korumbu for a magic potion. Korumbu tells him it is too dangerous at first, but when the fat man threatens to sic the authorities on the gypsy camp, Korumbu gives him the potion. He drinks, and passes out. When he comes to, the gypsy camp is gone, and he finds the potion has worked too well. He is constantly losing weight and if he stops stuffing his face even for a moment, he is in danger of wasting away to nothing. He spends the rest of his days searching for Korumbu.
• 5 Who Is the Ape Man? Script: Stan Lee +
  A bullying strong-man torments the animals in the circus where he works. He is humiliated and beaten by a mysterious strong-man, who turns out to be a gorilla disguised by its trainer, who is a chimpanzee in disguise.
