The Transformers 34 High Grade (1987)

  Jazz, with Sammy inside, meets up with Mirage and Trailbreaker, and they all head off to meet up with Optimus Prime. On the way, they are attacked by two Decepticon jets, but Bluestreak appears, and between them they manage to shoot the two jets down. Jazz take Sammy to Optimus Prime, who explains that the legendary Man of Iron is an Autobot that crashed on Earth millions of years ago, and that they are desperate to find the space craft before the Decepticons.
• 2 Man of Iron: The Conclusion Script: Willner McArdle +
  As the army prepares to excavate the buried alien craft, the Man of Iron appears and attacks the army. The Decepticon Starscream then appears and destroys the Man of Iron, whilst the rest of the Autobots rush to the site. More Decepticons attack, but the Autobots fight them off. Optimus Prime makes the decision to destroy the ancient buried spacecraft, unaware that the dormant Autobot Navigator is inside, who is destroyed along with the craft,
