  • Drox, the Viceroy of Venus, attacks the Earth by planting enormous Venusian plants in New York city. The fresh water is cut off from city supplies and the plants, some 600-feet-tall, die out when the roots reach ocean water.
  • Kenneth Baker and Robert Larkin have been out prospecting in space for three years. A license for their space ship is delinquent 30 months. Bob Larkin wants to call it off and return to Earth. They spot an uncharted asteroid and decide to check it out. The object turns out to be a planet with an Earth-like atmosphere. The ship crash lands. Bob dies, leaving Ken Baker stranded on the desert planet. Ken finds a lot of gold and buries Bob's body. Wandering the planet, he discovers an abandon city. He eats the mush pouring from a pipe in the city, eventually transforming into a lizard-creature.
  • The Earth's climate is freezing, caused by the sun's inexplicable, sudden dying. Rex and Speed must solve the mystery. An alien race in the ionic atmosphere is responsible, focusing Black Ray on the capital city of Earth. The aliens are lead by one named Roj, who plans to enslave the Earth and land their space-city for settlement. The aliens require cold that will kill all human life on Earth. Rex rigged up a powerful lamp to attack the light-allergic aliens, blowing up their planetoid before they can use their Black Ray again to destroy the Earth's inhabitants.
  • A race to the Moon in the future.
