  • It's fad day at school, and Mr. Weatherbee repeatedly hurts his back and exhausts himself trying out the twist, Hula Hoops, phone booth stacking, and more. He's glad the day has ended but the superintendent, who's been watching surreptitiously, insists that they repeat it for TV news the following day.
  • Li'l Jinx is having a hard time waking up, until she realizes it is Saturday.
  • A fireman gives the students instructions in the event of a fire at the school.
  • Archie is late for everything at school, including his batting swing in baseball.
  • The guys have to weed their gardens.
  • Ethel likes to pretend all the guys in town are chasing her.
