  Archie becomes the DJ on the school P.A. system, picking songs written and recorded by students. To get their records on his show, Archie's friends start offering him bribes, and pretty soon his policy becomes "no pay, no play." It's up to Archie's dad to give him the payment he deserves for his corruption.

  Though Archie is one of the best students in Spanish class, he thinks learning a foreign language is a waste of time. Until a boy is hit by a car and only Archie can talk to the boy's Spanish-speaking father to find out his blood type.

  When they hear Archie has tickets to a popular concert, Betty and Veronica compete to be the one he takes.

  When Betty and Ronnie comment on how lazy Betty's cat Caramel is, Caramel reveals that she has the ability to talk to them (but only while they're still small children). Caramel tells them the story of her life: she had three kittens and lived with them in an old abandoned house. When the house was destroyed, the four cats set off on a journey across America, where Caramel found homes for each of her children -- and almost lost her own life in the process.

  In a story mostly told in narrative captions, Archie gets a chance to redeem himself in Mr. Lodge's eyes when he notices a fire in the Lodge mansion.

  Archie explains his outlook on life to his friends and they take his advice to live each day as if it was the last.

  Reggie learns oriental gibberish from T.V.
• 9 Archie's Taxi Service Script: Bob Montana +
  Archie's jalopy is costing too much, so Archie offers to make it a taxi service. He picks up a man at the train station and while trying to shortcut, ends up on a road to the country. Bad things happen to the man and when Archie's jalopy is hit by a train, they end up walking 17 miles to Riverdale. When Archie goes to school the next day, he finds out that the man is the new principal.

  When Archie brings a stray dog home, it causes trouble for the whole house, including the house itself!

  Archie accidentally ends up with two dates on the same night and he tries to keep them both.
• 14 A Really Hot Date! Script: Васил Георгиев +
  Thousands of years ago the Andromeda family and their friends lived on Mars until Archie's science experiment made the whole planet too hot for habitation. The Martians left to find a better planet, but sent the Andromeda family to Earth (which was then in its ice age) as punishment.
• 15 Pool Sharks Pencils: Harry Lucey +
  Archie and Jughead keep causing Mr. Lodge to have accidents around the pool.
• 16 Past Masters Script: Frank Doyle +
  Betty decides that the best way to get the girls in her class to learn history is to gossip about it.
• 17 Visit To a Small Panic Script: Frank Doyle +
  The Archies visit Filmation, the animation studio that produces their Saturday morning cartoon. The producers and director are astonished to find that the real Archies are crazier than the TV cartoon versions.
• 18 The Great Switcheroo! Script: Nate Furman +
  When the gang fights about which gender has it easiest, Salem casts a spell on Riverdale switching everyone's genders. Next, we see a normal day with the gang switched around. Sabrina eventually reverses the spell by raining magic dust on the gang at a concert.
• 19 Lawman Pencils: Bill Vigoda +
  Mr. Weatherbee enlists Archie to help track down a chronic truant named Billie Blake. Archie doesn't realize that Billie is a girl, which leads to some confusion.
• 20 Sound Your "A" Pencils: Dan DeCarlo +
  Professor Flutesnoot asks Archie to deliver some sheet music.
• 21 Touch and Go Script: Sy Reit +
  Archie and Veronica go to a scary movie but it's not Veronica that gets scared.
• 22 Riverdale Rock City Script: Toine Moerbeek +
  Sabrina tries to cast a protection spell over Riverdale to protect the town from monsters, but accidental interference from Veronica causes the spell to instead summon monsters to Riverdale.
